A place called Blessing is one of a kind, being new to this author;this is a good book. This is a story about a boy that has felt rejected all his life, no one to trust or look out for him. Couldn't find a heart to call home and decided not to let any one in his. Josh is a interesting character, and his story speaks close to home. How he moved from one end of his life to the other and faces his greatest fears of all,....his story will touch your heart and cause you to reconsider some things in ones life.
What I like most about this book it that it teaches and sees life from another end (Josh's end). The author used Biblical principles to deliver his message. It was quite inspiring, thought-provoking and a challenge to work in Love towards another. No matter how messed-up we might think we are,God's arm is always wide open and his Love never fails us. The book added that being at "a place called blessing" is not limited to material things.
I will highly recommend this book, to anyone struggling with trust and forgiveness to anyone who has been hurt, this is a book emotional healing. And to all those that read this book, do keep it close and read over again; i know i will.
Looking to read the author's other book "The Blessing"!!
